　　新警长一家住进了免费的一个很大的老房子里,但里面却有....　　The new town sheriff moves into a large creepy old house with his family. It seems that in the town of Salem there's a special house for the sheriff to live in gratis. Unfortunately it's haunted by witches that have a strong craving for sheriff's blood.

叶甫盖尼·奥涅金的生活很奢华：舞会、招待会、戏剧首演以及首都能为年轻人提供的其他娱乐活动。但社交生活早已让他疲惫不堪，因此他认为住在村里的叔叔生病的消息是一个逃离令人厌恶的世界的机会。然而，到了庄园后，奥涅金得知一个亲戚去世了，但这并没有让叶甫盖尼太难过。他的经济状况非常糟糕，叔叔很有钱，却没有其他继承人。奥涅金把自己关在庄园里，避开邻居，邻居们很快就开始称他为怪人。叶甫盖尼过着漫无目的的孤独生活，直到从国外回来的庄园主人出现在邻近的庄园--一个年轻、热情、对生活尚未满足的连斯基，他把叶甫盖尼介绍给了塔吉娅娜和奥尔加·拉林姐妹。

　　狱中5个素不相识的人成了好兄弟——五福星。茶壶（洪金宝 饰）、死气喉（吴耀汉 饰）、卷毛积（岑建勋 饰）、凡士林（秦祥林 饰）和鲁奇（冯淬帆 饰）五人皆因小偷小摸或跑龙套成了冤大头，他们决心出狱后重新做人，光明正大挣钱。五人同一天出狱了，出狱后他们合股成立了一间清洁公司 ，专门帮公司或家居进行清洁。　　一天，黑帮在交易制贩假炒的电版时，被当地一个愣警察撞见了。慌乱之下，他们将电版藏进了五福星的清洁车的清洁箱内。毫不知情的五福星就这样又无端卷入了江湖是非中：一方面，警察怀疑他们是黑帮同伙，在四处通缉他们；另一方面，黑帮也在追寻他们，想杀人灭口取回电版。五福星在进退两难的境地如何运用他们的奇谋妙计脱险？

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
