Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 变异双头蛇
陈堃,莫佳荻,韩阳,武雨晴,王黎林宇与三名女孩遭遇空难，不幸流落至一座荒无人烟的孤岛，刚上岸便遭遇一头凶猛的变异双头蛇袭击。危急时刻，容貌靓丽、身手矫健的当地女土著颂雅及时出现，凭借对岛屿环境的熟悉，成功引开双头蛇，将四人救至一处隐蔽山洞。在艰难的孤岛求生中，林宇作为唯一的男性主动守护众人，朝夕相处间，他与四名女孩渐生情愫，陷入了两难的感情纠葛。好景不长，思瑶惨遭双头蛇伏击吞噬，若琳也不幸遇害。悲痛之下，林宇、婉晴与颂雅联手，借助颂雅祖辈流传的经验，摸清毒蛇怕强光和特定植物汁液的弱点，巧用简易工具设下陷阱，最终成功消灭双头蛇，林宇也找到情感的归宿。
