　　In the year 2961, the time is after humanity and nature has recovered the land. A hunter named Cygnus is called to rise above his duty. Cygnus must voyage across the treacherous landscape to defend his people. Sent by Nova, the matriarch of the band, she acts based on her vision for Cygnus to find a seed of hope.  故事发生在塞内加尔的大型建筑工地附近，晚上工人们与一名男子发生了冲突，男子的哥哥在工地因工伤丧生。

　　自幼能够看到恐怖幽灵的八神森司（中山优马 饰），在高中时邂逅了被神秘鬼影纠缠的后辈小历（岛崎遥香 饰）。他虽然喜欢对方，却由于自身胆怯的性格始终无法表白。第一年没有考上大学，经过一番努力森司如愿进入期望的高校，并且和小历重逢。在此期间，他听说小历和童年好友加入了某个超自然研究会，联想到高中的事件，森司无法对小历放任不管，于是也硬着头皮加入进去。这群个性满满的年轻人每天追踪各类神秘事件，不久后校园内开始出现离奇现象，而小历也成为恶灵狙击的目标……　　本片根据第19届日本恐怖小说大奖读者奖获得者櫛木理宇的同名作品改编。
