影片以一部“本应播出却被紧急叫停的纪录片”为线索，记录了一名男子与三位妻子共同生活的影像。网页设计师萩原浩司、作为家庭经济支柱的公司经营者中濑由子、前模特乾真理奈，以及护士内野枫——四名相关人士被召集到一起，观看了一段丈夫被杀害的录像。然而，随着影像逐渐展开，三位妻子却先后承认： 凶手是自己。爱、依赖、嫉妒与谎言交织在影像背后，纪录片的真实目的也随之变得模糊。这部被“禁止播出”的影像，究竟隐藏着怎样的真相？

　　20世纪40年代，美国某个依靠石油而发展起来的小镇。当地最大富豪彻斯特·康维（Ned Beatty 饰）的儿子艾尔姆（Jay R.
