好像一切都很糟糕
Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 如果灵魂离开了身躯，肉体还是正常活动，该怎么去解释这种生命形态？余燕（陈郡君饰）早晨醒来便觉得身体有异常，先后与家人和男友许德（张立昂饰）发生争执，盛怒的余燕转身离去，随后发生车祸。经医生抢救逃过死劫，却找不到心跳。此时她被劫走，醒来后身处在地下密室，研究失魂者的胡教授解释余燕会失去魂魄，是因为内心有强烈的负面磁场，一旦受到冲击，灵魂就会脱离身体。余燕需要在72小时内把自己的灵魂找回来，才能够恢复正常。
