某所高中，平凡女孩若草（二阶堂富美 饰）看不惯前男友观音崎（上杉柊平 饰）欺负同班同学山田（吉沢亮 饰）的行为，经常出手干预。山田感念若草的仗义，决定和她分享不为人知的宝藏一具躺在河边芦苇从中腐烂到只剩骨殖的尸体。另一个知道这个秘密的是两人的学妹，年纪轻轻就步入模特圈的吉川（浅野堇 饰）。看似光鲜的吉川为了保持身材，常常暴饮暴食后催吐。观音崎脑中只有暴力和性欲，他和若草的好友小山（土居志央梨 饰）搞在一起，沉湎堕落。可爱女孩田岛（森川葵 饰）是山田的小迷妹，这个没有自我的女孩终于发现对方根本不在意她的存在 本片根据冈崎京子的同名漫画改编。

In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
