剧情纵览
鸣海六平（北大路欣也 饰）自幼便痴迷于艺术，如今担任着佐保美术馆馆长的职务。鸣海和妻子范子（三田佳子 饰）一个在奈良，一个在东京，过着分居两地的生活，日子久了，寂寞难耐的范子和家庭医生走到了一起。鸣海虽然发现了妻子的背叛，但为了让孩子能够有一个完整的家庭，他选择忍气吞声，报复性的更加埋首于工作之中。 某日，鸣海造访陶艺家石本八郎（冈田英次 饰）的住所，就此结识了八郎的女儿多惠（古手川祐子 饰），之后，多惠来到了鸣海所在的美术馆打工，一来二去之间，鸣海和多惠产生了背德的感情。
